We're exclusively recruiting for a Head of Finance to join a private equity‑backed healthcare group with an outstanding reputation and ambitious growth plans. Based in Enfield North London, this hybrid role (3 days office‑based) is ideal for someone ready to step into a key leadership position and make an immediate impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading the finance function of a specialist healthcare division.
Owning the full month‑end close process, with a focus on speeding up reporting timelines and improving data accuracy.
Driving the successful implementation of Sage Intacct, working with the senior leadership team to ensure seamless integration and value‑add reporting.
Building stronger financial processes and controls across the business to enhance insight and support operational decisions.
Leading and developing a small team (non‑qualified staff), coaching them through financial rigour and best practice.
Playing a hands‑on role in commercial pricing, supplier contracts, and preparing for audit and statutory compliance.
Working closely with the wider group finance function and local leadership to deliver strategic and operational change.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong technical grounding.
Confident leading a team, especially one with less experience.
Sharp, analytical mindset and excellent Excel skills.
Hands‑on attitude – comfortable rolling up sleeves and improving processes on the ground.
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 and experience with accounting platforms (Sage Intacct a plus).
