Job Title: Teaching Assistant with Midday Duties
TA Hours: 20 per week MDA Hours: 4.67 per week
TA Salary: £11,461.56 - £11,643.26 (Scale 3 pro rata)
MDA Salary: £2,553.85 - £2,593.90 (Scale 1 pro rata)
Contract: Part Time, Term Time, Fixed Term (contact school for further info)
Start Date: 1st September 2025
The Headteacher, Governors and children of our inclusive school would like to appoint a kind and self-motivated Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025.
You will:
1. Be able to work under the guidance of teaching / senior staff to implement agreed work programmes
2. Be able to assist the teacher in the planning cycle and the management & preparation of resources
3. Be able to provide support for teaching staff across the school in an appropriate learning environment
4. Enjoy working with children with complex needs.
5. Have the skills, knowledge and experience or be willing to undertake training to support children with physical needs, autism and learning difficulties.
6. Work well with other staff and agencies.
7. Be well motivated and have a positive attitude.
8. Have the ability to work in a 1:1 situation and to teach small groups or be willing to undertake training
9. Be able to support children during lunchtime
10. Be able to assis with cleaning in the dining Hall
11. Be able to supervise children on the playground
