Position Summary The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Design & Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational aims. Create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement differentiated learning strategies to cater to diverse needs and abilities. Maintain a well-organized and safe learning environment, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment. Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to enhance the Design & Technology curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Design & Technology and its real-world applications, with a strong commitment to student success. Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and a creative approach to teaching.
