An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join the Renewables Financial Control team based in Perth/Glasgow. As a Finance Analyst within the Renewables Finance Solar & Battery team you will assist with a broad range of Financial Control activities - including, but not limited to; Month end journal postings, Bank and balance sheet reconciliations, Involvement in the half year and year end audit, including preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with the auditors. Preparation of VAT returns and other regulated reports What do I need? Reporting to the Solar & Battery Finance Manager you will be part of a growing business and be exposed to a large amount of ad-hoc work, supporting a broad range of finance requirements as the business continues to grow. We're looking for someone who is passionate about working in the energy industry and will bring fresh thinking and ideas to the role and the wider Finance team. You must have relevant accounting experience, gained in a similar role and ideally will have started your professional exams. SSE Renewables will support you if you are completing a professional qualification.
