Offer description

At Red Bull Racing & Technology, we don’t just compete—we innovate, disrupt, and push beyond the limits of performance. We are driven by relentless ambition, cutting-edge technology, and the determination to win at every level. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, and we thrive on trust, creativity, and bold ideas. We celebrate wins as a team, big or small, because success is always a shared achievement.

We are currently seeking a Wind Tunnel Systems Engineer to work within our Aerodynamics Technology Development group. The group’s remit is research and development of tools for aerodynamic development. In this role you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary design team, involved in a variety of innovative and cutting-edge projects primarily for our state-of-the-art wind tunnel model and test facilities.

Applicants interested in applying for the above role will be talented, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a proactive approach and the ability to learn, maintain and develop new mechanical, electrical, electronic and software systems.

The successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work to very tight deadlines within both a team environment and individually, often with minimal supervision.

Reflecting the multi-disciplinary nature of the role, applications will be welcome from candidates who can demonstrate professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Industrial control system development based on Beckhoff TwinCAT or Siemens TIA/Step7
* Development and maintenance of hydraulic systems
* Use and development of metrology solutions used within a wind tunnel environment, e.g. Leica / Polyworks
* Expert knowledge of data acquisition systems typically used in motorsport, e.g. Pi Toolbox / Pi Diablo, Mclaren ATLAS / System Monitor.

What we can offer you:

At Red Bull Technology, we’re more than a Formula 1 team—we’re a high-performance innovation hub, pushing the limits of what’s possible. We thrive on big ambitions, bold engineering, and a relentless drive to win. Our success is built on trust, collaboration, and the belief that the best ideas come from those who dare to challenge the norm. Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy:

* On-site gym
* Free daily food allowance
* And many more!

But above all, you’ll be part of a world-class team, powering cutting-edge technology and driving championship-winning cars. Ready to take on the challenge? Apply now and be part of the future of F1.

At Red Bull Racing & Technology, we believe our greatest strength is our people. We celebrate every success — together — and know that trust and collaboration are what drive us forward as one team.
