A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a growing manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team. The client are market leaders within their sector and experiencing a very exciting growth period. As part of a strong engineering function of R&D, Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineers this role involves managing the whole electrical control systems process of complex machinery which is critical to key sectors in manufacturing.
Role Description
* Producing and updating detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
* Producing 3D layouts of electrical panels along with 2D layout drawings to allow correct placement of parts and meet electrical standards
* Collaborating closely with Mechanical, Software, and R&D teams to deliver solutions on time and to budget
* Correct part selection to meet electrical specification and correct current and voltage determination of system demands
* Safety PLC programming to meet ISO standards
Skills and Qualifications
* HNC / HND level qualified engineer in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Degree Qualified
* 5 years+ experience with Electrical Design Engineering
* Experience in working with PLC programming
* Proven experience with design of electrical schematics and control systems
* Electrical CAD Package experience (ideally AutoCAD)
* Strong communication both internally and externally
* Well versed in managing multiple projects
