We seek an individual with strength and determination to support our growth. Under the direction of the Registered Manager, you will oversee the delivery of outstanding care across our territory, with excellent people management and communication skills to support our team of CareGivers. Flexibility and focus on operational goals are essential.
This is an exciting growth phase for the company, with significant goals over the next five years. You may initially cover care calls, with future opportunities to become the Registered Manager, supported in your career development.
Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Be accountable to the Registered Manager
* Ensure outstanding compliance and support the achievement of at least 'Good' in CQC inspections
* Assist in staff workload planning, allocation, and evaluation
* Ensure consistent application of policies and promote company aims
* Review and improve processes for efficient service delivery
* Provide high-quality care services to vulnerable individuals at home
* Supervise staff and conduct supervision and appraisals
* Monitor and review staff performance via KPIs
* Meet reporting requirements, including KPI reporting
* Maintain accurate records, both manual and computerized
* Supervise staff effectively
* Address staff training needs, including inductions and ongoing training
* Maintain assessment and review procedures
* Coordinate with other agencies involved with clients
* Cover homecare calls as the business expands
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
* Hold or be working towards QCF Level 5 in Social Care (support available)
* Deep understanding of CQC assessment criteria for 'Good' and 'Outstanding'
Abilities, Skills & Behaviours
* Highly driven and ambitious to make a difference and grow the business
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Google Drive/MS Office and report writing
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and inspection processes
* Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to participate in out-of-hours on-call system
* Organized with strong planning and attention to detail
* Ability to establish professional relationships
