I am a 64 year old gentleman living in the Neath area with my Brother and Sister-In-Law. I have additional learning needs and a diagnosis of Down syndrome. I am a quiet gentleman, but I have dementia and can experience changing moods. I have limited communication and I am hard of hearing. I am looking for a PA to sit with me at home and keep me company, for my family to have a break. I really enjoy colouring and would like the PA to do this with me. I would also like the PA to play Jenga and Snap with me. The PA would need to keep me safe by ensuring that I do not leave the home.
Qualifications
* Experience of working with individuals with dementia would be advantageous
* Is trustworthy, reliable and punctual
* Is caring and understanding
* Is friendly and patient
* Respects my privacy and confidentiality
