Food Production Operative – Morning and Afternoon Shift
Location: Worsley M28
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm or Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Proman is currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food manufacturing site in Worsley. Our client is one of the UK’s leading food producers, supplying major retailers and food service providers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling and preparing food products
Working in a chilled environment
Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
Maintaining product quality and meeting production targets
Supporting waste reduction and yield improvement initiatives
Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive working environment
Adapting to various production tasks as needed
Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements
Requirements:
Comfortable working with food products and in chilled conditions
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance
Previous experience in food production is beneficial but not essential—full training provided
