We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN 1:1 Support Assistant to join a dedicated Primary SEN school. Duties as SEN 121 Support Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 support to a child with additional needs, helping them to access learning and daily activities.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to adapt resources and approaches.
* Encourage the child’s independence, social interaction and confidence.
* Support with personal care and emotional regulation when required.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Ideal SEN 121 Support Assistant:
* No prior school experience is needed – full training will be given.
* A patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills as a SEN 121 Support Assistant.
* A genuine interest in working with children with Special Educational Needs.
* Commitment to learning new skills and taking guidance from experienced staff.
