We're looking for an experienced carpenter to join our responsive repairs team, working across occupied social housing properties in the local area. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and understands the unique demands of working in tenants' homes.Your new role
* Carrying out day-to-day carpentry repairs and maintenance in occupied properties
* Completing basic multi-trade tasks where required (e.g., minor plumbing, patch plastering, small repairs)
* Delivering work safely, professionally, and with respect for residents' homes
* Working independently with a company van and fuel card provided
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in social housing repairs or similar domestic maintenance
* Strong understanding of working in occupied properties
* NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred)
* Ability to carry out basic associated repairs across other trades
* Full UK driving licence
* Based locally to the Northamptonshire area
