Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our growing team selling SGS services related to the testing, inspection and certification of products and equipment intended for use in explosive environments.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
2. Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
4. Partner with internal teams to align on strategic initiatives and meet business objectives.
5. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Qualifications
6. Significant experience in a highly technical B2B environment
7. Proficient in MS Office and CRM software (, Salesforce)
8. Experience working successfully within a performance measured CRM based sales environment
9. Packaging and bundling services to ensure sales opportunities are maximized
10. Proven ability to articulate distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
11. In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
12. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
13. BSc degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
14. Strong sales focus with a drive to succeed identifying and securing new business
15. Commercial acumen, able to establish need and create value price models against needs
16. Knowledge of IT systems, particularly MS Office applications and CRM Systems
17. Willingness to travel: both nationally and internationally.
