Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Position Details:
* Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Ongoing position
* Location: London borough of Newham
* Salary: £97 - £115 per day
Role Overview:
Providing social, emotional, & cognitive support for students with various SEMH-related needs.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
* Supporting students in developing their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
* Liaising with the class teacher, SENCO, & wider community professionals (e.g., Educational Psychologist) to ensure students are on track.
* Assisting in creating a progressive & welcoming learning environment.
* Working with students across various year groups with learning disabilities (Autism, ADHD) and mental health needs.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a degree in a related field.
* Prior experience working with students (preferred but not essential).
* Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Empathetic, proactive, & ambitious.
* Aspiring to pursue careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Counselling, or Pastoral Work.
