Belford Hospital, Fort William
Clinical Fellow
(Fixed term 6 months)
40 hours per week + Banding Supplement
£45,504 - £60,199 per annum pro rata
Fort William is the outdoor capital of the UK, offering opportunities for outdoor pursuits, stunning scenery, wildlife, low crime, and good schools in a friendly community, within two hours of Inverness, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.
The hospital has a 17-bed Combined Assessment Unit, a two-bed high dependency unit with short-term critical care facilities, and a 15-bed acute/rehabilitation ward. On-site laboratory and radiology services, including ultrasound and CT, are available 24/7.
The successful candidates will have completed Foundation Years training or equivalent, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work flexibly within an integrated team. Responsibilities include working between the Clinical Assessment Unit, Rehabilitation Ward, and Emergency Department. Opportunities exist for developing special interests, research collaboration with the University of the Highlands and Islands and Aberdeen University, and involvement in teaching and supporting junior staff and students. You will play a key role in the hospital's daily operations.
