Science Technician – Walsall – Immediate Start
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our secondary school in Walsall, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, hands-on environment and supporting students’ learning in Science.
The Role:
Preparing and setting up practical experiments and equipment for Science lessons
Maintaining laboratories, ensuring resources are available, safe and well-organised
Assisting teachers with demonstrations and practical support during lessons when required
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Supporting the wider Science department with stock control, ordering equipment and general administrative tasks
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as a Science Technician in a school setting is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of safe lab practices and handling scientific equipment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive and flexible approach to working in a team
This is a school-based role with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and supportive Science department dedicated to helping students achieve their best.
