Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections to assess existing road conditions and determine necessary maintenance regimes
Schedule and coordinate maintenance works, ensuring timely completion of tasks
Develop maintenance plans and drawings using CAD software
Collaborate with local authorities and other stakeholders to implement effective maintenance strategies
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
Monitor and evaluate completed work to ensure it meets required standards
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in highway maintenance engineering, particularly within local authority schemes
Expertise in creating and interpreting CAD drawings for maintenance projects
Ability to conduct thorough site inspections and develop appropriate maintenance plans
Strong understanding of highway maintenance principles and practices
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site
Full-time availability with no option for remote working
Residency in or around the East Riding area for easy accessibility to sites
Contract Details:
Full-time position (40 hours per week)
Initial contract term of 3-4 months with potential for ongoing extension
Outside IR35
