Financial Accountant
London | Hybrid
£70,000-£80,000k plus benefits
Join a high-calibre finance team as a Financial Accountant, taking ownership of core financial control, technical accounting and statutory reporting. This is a hands-on, business-facing role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail while driving continuous improvement across the function.
The Role
* Manage fixed asset accounting and reconciliations
* Lead IFRS 16 lease accounting
* Prepare statutory accounts and oversee change control
* Deliver high-quality, timely balance sheet reconciliations
* Support internal and external audits
* Provide technical guidance on accounting standards, company law and HMRC requirements
* Partner with finance and wider teams to strengthen controls and mitigate risk
* Support preparation of tax computations
* Pick up ad-hoc duties for the UK Financial Controller
About You
* ACA/ACCA qualified with strong technical accounting foundations
* Sharp communicator with a proactive, solutions-led mindset
* Detail-driven, controls-focused and comfortable challenging the status quo
