The Role
This is a high-impact position for a leader who remains deeply passionate about the "craft" of engineering. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead a wider, multidisciplinary team of 25 specialists across Full-stack, Mobile, and QA, with 3-5 direct reports.
Unlike purely administrative management roles, you will be the primary technical voice at the start of every project. You will actively participate in "0 to 1" product design and high-level architecture, ensuring every solution is elegant, scalable, and technically sound.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Architecture & Design: Act as the technical heartbeat of the studio. You will lead project kick-offs, architecting robust solutions and guiding the high-level design of complex digital products.
* Inclusive Leadership: Line manage 3–5 Lead/Principal Engineers, focusing on their growth, technical progression, and well-being.
* Collaborative Partnership: Work side-by-side with Design and Product peers to shape a studio strategy that values diverse thinking and innovative problem-solving.

* Strategic Problem Solver: You have a proven track record of architecting products from scratch and navigating the technical trade-offs inherent in client-facing environments.
