Do you have excellent decision making, reporting and communication skills? If so, our Salisbury water recycling team is looking for a Water Recycling Operator to join them.
What you'll do
As a Water Recycling Operator, you will:
1. manage the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards
2. be involved in running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants.
3. ensure compliance with company policy, processes and procedures
4. ensure the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times
5. provide emergency cover on the standby rota and take part in a shift pattern when applicable (an average of 40 hours per week).
What you'll need
You will need experience of working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant is also essential. Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable. Confined spaces training will be provided.
You will also need:
6. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths and a technical subject
7. to be happy working outside in all conditions
8. a valid driving licence.
