Job Description:
Security Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC/DV Security Clearance via the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process.

Our purpose is driven by sustainability initiatives like #ZEROe. We seek a System Administrator to join the Spacecraft Control Centre Support Team in Chippenham, Wiltshire, reporting to the Head of SCOF Engineering.
The SCOF manages ground equipment, computers, software, and connectivity for command and control of the SKYNET constellation. The main computer systems host critical software applications and operator workstations.
Responsibilities
* Sys Admin expert for SKYNET 6A Spacecraft Control Centre installation and network integration
* Perform configuration, maintenance, equipment swaps, and system restores
* Ensure network compatibility with SCOF equipment and networks; CISCO CCNP Enterprise certification is advantageous
* Assist in investigating and resolving system issues
* Lead SCC engineering for system upgrades, patches, and fixes
* Develop and execute testing procedures for system changes and upgrades
Qualifications
* Valid RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) or ability to obtain
* Experience in system administration roles supporting high availability Linux systems
* Strong IP networking knowledge and familiarity with Cisco devices
