As a Design Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a love of design, engineering, and innovation among our students. The Role: Teach Design Technology across key stages 3 and 4, tailoring lessons to meet diverse learning needs. Inspire students with a passion for design, problem-solving, and the creative use of materials. Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge. Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Maintain and manage a well-equipped DT department, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment. What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher with a specialization in Design Technology (QTS essential). Experience in teaching DT at secondary level, with a proven track record of success. Strong subject knowledge in areas such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, and systems & control. A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
