Overview:
September 9th Start - Pop-Up store, Temporary Role for approximately 4 months
We are seeking a talented and experienced Store Manager to join our team at our temporary pop-up. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales as well as stock planning for each week, processing deliveries and feeding back on the stock requirements. This role requires experience with high volumes of stock and ideally experience of second hand fashion.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the store and coordinate charity partners
* Motivate staff to achieve sales targets and to support the store running
* Manage rotas and ensure the store is fully staffed and opened in time daily
* Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues
* Implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
* Ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing
* Conduct regular stock takes and manage stock rotation
* Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance
Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
* Charity retail experience is ideal but not essential
* Previous experience in fashion retail supervising or management role is essential
* Ability to work independently
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
* Flexible in working hours and able to work around the needs of our charity partners
* Administrative skills for managing store paperwork and reports
* Experience supervising staff and managing schedules
