Retail Store Assistant role at Cancer Research UK (CRUK) – Liverpool Superstore. Floor/retail position within the Trading department.
Role title: Retail Assistant (internal title: Shop Assistant)
Location: Liverpool Superstore
Contract: Permanent
Working hours: Part time 15 hours per week
Reports to: Shop manager
Closing date: 07 September 2025 23:55 (may close earlier if high volume of applications or a suitable candidate is found)
Salary: £12.21 per hour plus benefits
Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply. Cancer Research UK is not able to offer visa sponsorship.
DBS: Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory basic DBS check.

Responsibilities
* Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
* Working as an integral part of the shop team to achieve ambitious sales and fundraising targets.
* Assisting with maintaining shop standards including visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
* Creating relationships with your local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
* Supporting fundraising events for your store to achieve fundraising targets.
* Taking keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).
* There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity required within the day-to-day duties of the role.

* Experience of working in a busy customer service environment.
* The ability to manage your own workload and work independently when required.
* The ability to work well in a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Flexibility to cover store needs on a rota basis; we recognise work-life balance.
