Senior Bid Writer
Company Overview: Our client is the leading fire safety specialist in the UK, dedicated to securing new business and maintaining existing contracts in the public sector, including social housing, public sector healthcare, and universities.
Role Overview: As a Senior Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing new business and retaining existing maintenance contracts. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will complete supplier questionnaires, write compelling written responses, and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of bids to strict deadlines. Acting as a leader you will manage and coordinate the bid team’s activity. You will report directly into the Sales & Marketing Director.
Location: Full time role based in Plymouth, Devon (Bristol or Nottingham can be considered)
Key Skills / Responsibilities:
1. Work alongside all key stakeholders to successfully secure new business and retain existing maintenance contracts through re tenders and renewals
2. Independently source relevant tender opportunities including monitoring OJEU regulated portals
3. Responsible for generating and presenting all Bid / No Bid overviews for review by the Senior Leadership Team
4. Complete all Approved Supplier Questionnaires (ASQs) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) as required.
