Lindus Therapeutics (LTx - lindustx.com) is our newly launched initiative to build a portfolio of in-licensed clinical-stage assets. The thesis is simple. Across pharma and biotech, strong assets are routinely deprioritised for commercial or strategic reasons rather than scientific ones. We in-license those assets and aim to advance them through lean, best-in-class proof‑of‑concept studies our clinical trial platform. We’re targeting a first tranche of 4–5 assets, with trials starting in 2027.
As Associate, Corporate Development, you’ll report directly into our VP Corporate Development and sit at the core of the deal team. You’ll run the engine of asset evaluation (from screening through to commercial diligence and deal structuring) and help build the materials that shape sponsor, investor, and board conversations. This is an early‑stage role with unusually direct exposure to the Co‑CEOs and the people making the decisions.
This role is based in our London office near London Bridge, with an expectation that you’d be with the team in‑person 3 days a week.
About you
* 2‑3 years’ experience at a top strategy or life sciences consultancy, a biotech corporate development or BD team, or an investment role focused on healthcare.
* A medical degree, life sciences PhD, or similarly rigorous scientific background is strongly preferred. You can read a clinical data package and hold your own in a scientific discussion.
* Strong commercial judgement. You can size a market for a therapeutic asset, conduct an rNPV valuation, pressure‑test a commercial thesis, and identify where a therapeutic area is heading.
* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. You’re comfortable building peak sales forecasts, competitive benchmarks, and deal economics from scratch, and turning them into clean, persuasive slides.
* Clear writer. You can produce concise internal memos and external‑facing materials without a lot of editing.
* High ownership. You drive work to completion and raise your hand when something is off, rather than waiting to be directed.
* AI‑ and LLM‑fluent. You use the latest tools to work faster and better across research, synthesis, modelling support, and presentation development, with strong judgment on where human review matters.
* Genuine interest in drug development, deal‑making, and the economics of biotech. You know how to read a patent.
What you’ll focus on
* Running asset identification sprints.
* Driving commercial diligence on shortlisted assets, including peak sales modelling, competitive benchmarking, indication prioritisation, and exit pathway analysis.
* Supporting scientific and regulatory diligence alongside our CMO and external experts, and coordinating with our external DD partners.
* Building the materials that run the deal process: asset briefing docs, first‑call question packs, sponsor outreach, and data room review notes.
* Preparing investor and board materials, including pitch decks, portfolio summaries, and financial models.
* Supporting deal structuring and negotiation alongside the VP Corporate Development, Co‑CEOs, and counsel.
