Job Title: Social Worker /Senior Social Worker
Team: Family Safeguarding
Salary:
SW: £36,124 – £39,513 per annum, plus £4,000 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)
SSW: £40,215 – £45,595 per annum, plus £3,500 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

What You’ll Do:
8. Lead complex cases with confidence and clarity
9. Mentor and support less experienced colleagues
10. Champion values-led, motivational practice that delivers real impact
11. Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to shape outcomes and service
12. Work with children under s17/s47 assessments, child protection plans, and child in need cases

What We’re Looking For
13. Registered with Social Work England
14. Completed ASYE
15. Happy to travel and use public transport or have a license and access to your own vehicle.
16. Significant senior level frontline experience in a safeguarding team.
17. Recent experience of case work in Assessments, Child Protection, Children Looked After and Care Proceedings
18. Excellent communication, analysis, and safeguarding skills
19. Knowledge of key legislation and ability to use a strengths-based approach
