This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, foster students’ technical skills, and encourage problem-solving, creativity, and logical thinking. As a Computer Science Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across the curriculum. Inspire students to develop coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and engagement. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as required. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance learning experiences. Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding, and pupil welfare. Requirements for the role of Computer Science Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Proven experience teaching Computer Science in UK school setting. Strong subject knowledge, particularly in programming, algorithms, and ICT systems. Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
