Local Division Manager, ELSE UK
Your Role And Responsibilities
In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop skills necessary to kickstart a career in the Service division at ABB. As a trainee, you will be part of a community and participate in activities with other trainees, including training sessions to enhance soft and technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program, you will receive support from the Program Lead. The work model for the role is: #hybrid.
This role contributes to the Electrification, Service division in UK. You will support ABB's businesses, collaborate with leaders and teams, and contribute to strategic objectives. Daily tasks will include assisting sales, tendering, and project managers with technical reviews, delivering projects on time and within budget, assisting with claims and customer specifications, creating work plans and risk assessments, and helping resolve technical issues remotely and onsite, liaising with factories over delivery and design issues.
Qualifications For The Role
* Recent bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
* Understanding of project management principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and follow through to project completion.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel across the UK (driving license essential).
