VetNearHome is seeking dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurses to join our team, specialising in providing high-quality home visit veterinary care. This role offers the unique opportunity to work outside of a traditional clinic environment, delivering personalised, in-home care to pets and their owners. We are looking for candidates passionate about animal welfare and eager to redefine veterinary care with flexibility and compassion.
Duties
* Conduct thorough in-home examinations of pets to help identify any potential issues.
* Maintain accurate medical records within our platform.
* Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and post-treatment recommendations in a relaxed, home-based setting.
* Collaborate with our support team to provide seamless and comprehensive care, including liaising with partner clinics for advanced or emergency referrals.
* Stay current with veterinary medicine advancements and in-home care best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
* A veterinary nursing qualification and registration with the RCVS.
* Proven experience as a Veterinary Nurse, with a focus on providing calm, professional care in varied environments.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with pet owners and deliver empathetic care.
* A passion for animal welfare and enhancing the bond between pets and their owners.
* The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive, collaborative network.
