About the Job
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this part-time role will support the day-to-day finance operations. You’ll work closely with both finance and operations teams to ensure accurate invoicing, credit control, and maintenance of financial records using Xero.
Duties will include:
1. Preparing and issuing weekly and monthly customer invoices using Xero
2. Managing credit control, including issuing statements and following up on overdue payments
3. Maintaining and updating customer records, including setting up new accounts
4. Updating the customer payment tracker and providing regular reports to management
5. Processing purchase ledger invoices and reconciling company credit card transactions
6. Supporting the Finance Manager with additional ad hoc tasks as required
About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience in credit control and sales ledger, with strong Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail. Previous experience using Xero is desirable. You’ll be a proactive team player with strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude.
