Position: Stores Operative
Hourly Rate: £13 - £14
Working Pattern: Full Time
What You'll Do:
As a Stores Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
Stock Control: Manage stock levels to ensure availability and prevent stockouts.
Goods Inwards: Receive, check, and document incoming stock efficiently.
Picking and Packing: Collect and pack orders for dispatch with precision. 📦
Warehouse Operations: Assist with unloading vehicles and storing goods to maintain an organised workspace. 🚛
Computer Systems: utilise SAP and other inventory management systems to keep track of stock and process orders. 💻
Communication: Liaise with various departments to anticipate needs and ensure timely restock. 💬
Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to keep the workplace safe. 🦺What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate stock management and order processing.
organisation Skills: Ability to organise work, manage time, and prioritise tasks effectively.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
Computer Literacy: Familiarity with basic computer skills, especially in inventory management systems.
