We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal
Hotel & Spa MGallery in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this
historic building, bringing it back to life. Our Heartists® aspire to

stories from the past but also to immerse themselves into our hospitality,
creating their own astonishing tales of MGallery magical moments. We
boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the

iconic clock tower and bells giving the tempo to a timeless melody.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEETINGS AND EVENTS SUPERVISOR AT THE
MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY
What you'll be doing...
As Meetings and Events Supervisor, you will be
reporting directly to the Floor Manager. You’ll take full ownership of the
Meetings and Events Department.
* You will foster a fantastic relationship with
our clients, gaining their trust at every touch point adding the Municipal
personal touch, encouraging and repeat business.
* You will ensure a smooth execution of events to enhance
guest’s experience.
* Oversee
the daily operations of meetings and events, ensuring seamless setup,
execution, and breakdown.
* Supervise
and coordinate event staff (banquet servers, set-up teams, AV technicians,
etc.) during events.
* Ensure
all event spaces are set up according to specifications and hotel standards.
* Serve
as the primary point of contact for clients during events.
* Ensure
client requests and expectations are met or exceeded throughout the event
lifecycle.
* Handle
last-minute changes or issues promptly and professionally.
* Provide
guidance, training, and support to the events team.
* Motivate
staff to uphold a high level of customer service and operational excellence.
* Conduct
pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs.
* Review
and interpret function sheets, floor plans, and guest lists.
* Assist
in preparing event summaries and reports.
* Maintain
event inventory and equipment condition.
* Ensure
compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Uphold
brand standards and 5-star luxury service protocols.
Qualifications:
* Minimum
2-3 years’ experience in events or banqueting operations.
* Proven
supervisory or team leader experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
* Strong
knowledge of event operations, F&B service, and guest engagement.
* Excellent
communication and organizational skills.
* Ability
to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable Traits:
* A
passion for delivering world-class guest service.
* Detail-oriented
with the ability to multitask under pressure.
* Positive,
proactive, and solution-focused attitude.
* Certification
in Event Management or Hospitality (preferred but not required).
