We are recruiting for a dedicated Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to our fee earners.
This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our Private Client department, ensuring effective communication with clients and seamless handling of daily tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Perform audio and copy typing of all correspondence including letters and legal forms.
* Maintain regular client contact, updating clients on their cases and handling enquiries.
* Undertake general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
* Manage diaries for fee earners, scheduling appointments and meetings.
* Handle the opening and closing of client files efficiently.
* Access and input data into the firm’s case management system, Visual Files.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary, within a busy Private Client department.
* Fast and accurate typing skills.
* Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both over the telephone and in person.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
