Are you a dedicated and passionate Food Tech Teacher?
Our Coventry school is seeking a part-time Food Tech Teacher to join us starting in January 2025.
As a part-time Food Tech Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students, helping them develop essential skills in cooking and food design while fostering creativity and an understanding of nutrition.
Key Responsibilities: Teach Food Tech to KS3 and KS4 students as a part-time Food Tech Teacher, helping them build practical cooking and design skills.
Develop and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to explore creativity through food as a Food Tech Teacher.
Assess and track student progress as a Food Tech Teacher, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Tech curriculum, sharing new ideas and techniques as a Food Tech Teacher.
Stay updated with trends in food and design, incorporating these into your lessons as a Food Tech Teacher.
Create a positive, supportive environment where students feel confident to experiment with their cooking and food design skills as a Food Tech Teacher.
Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Food Technology, Design, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Food Tech at the secondary level.
A passion for food, cooking, and inspiring creativity in students.
