New Product Development Manager
Pacific is a leading importer, wholesaler and distributor of indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting and home accessories. We manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of our products—from design to supply—for many major retailers in the UK, sourcing goods from around the world and delivering them to customers and end‑users. The Opportunity
Working under the Creative Director, the New Product Development Manager will collaborate with the Creative Team, National and Key Account Managers, and other internal stakeholders to develop products in line with the company’s Product Strategy.
The Role
* Range planning and driving product development and design, from concept to physical samples, aligned with the company’s Product Strategy.
* Negotiating with key suppliers to secure a competitive merchandise mix.
* Co‑ordinating with the Quality Assurance Department on all product requirements.
* Interpreting and delivering designs and briefs to suppliers and customers, with support from the wider team.
* Working with Marketing and Photography teams to create product imagery.
* Writing product copy for trade and consumer websites that reflects the brand ethos and tone of voice.
* Participating in supplier visits worldwide and UK travel with Account Managers to deliver briefs to customers.
The Candidate
* Highly motivated, creative, and detail‑oriented team player.
* Background in home interiors, specifically product knowledge.
* Strong interest in current trends and an eye for design detail.
* Excellent time‑management and organisational skills to meet company and customer deadlines.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to anticipate market trends.
* Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable under pressure.
* Strong communication and presentation abilities.
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of SEO techniques and AI tools is beneficial.

£28,000.00 – £32,000.00 per year
