System C provides leading technology across Social Care and Education, supporting Local Authorities and education providers to deliver essential services. We are looking for a Head of Pre-Sales to lead the strategic management and optimisation of bid delivery and solution demonstration capability across our Social Care and Education portfolios. This is a senior role that shapes how we present our products, support customers through procurement, and position our solutions in a fast changing market.


About The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that our bid submissions, solution narratives and product demonstrations are aligned, compelling and reflective of customer needs. Acting as the operational link between our Bid team, Demo team and Sales organisation, you will bring consistency, quality and strategic direction to every stage of the pre-sales process. You will lead the development of one, three, and five year capability roadmap, ensuring the function evolves to meet changing technology, procurement and regulatory expectations. You will also champion innovation, improve the way we communicate product value, and make sure the team is equipped for growth and resilience.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide strategic leadership across Pre Sales, aligning activity with commercial priorities and market opportunities
* Develop and deliver a capability roadmap that strengthens our bid, demo and solution consulting practice
* Lead the organisation’s approach to strategic bids and BAU tenders, shaping narratives that align with customer priorities
* Ensure product demonstrations are impactful, customer focused and aligned to procurement requirements
* Build reusable demo assets, storyboards and frameworks
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Technology and Delivery teams to ensure alignment
* Lead and develop a high performing Pre Sales and Bid organisation
* Implement tools, processes and technology that increase efficiency and scalability
* Maintain strong market insight and represent Pre Sales in strategic discussions


What You Will Bring

* Extensive experience in Pre Sales, Solution Consulting and exposure to Bid Management within software
* Strong background in public sector procurement, ideally Social Care or Education
* Ability to craft compelling proposals and articulate complex technical capability
* Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
* Experience leading teams and supporting career development
* Excellent collaboration skills and the confidence to operate in a fast paced, evolving environment
