We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our team, based out of our office located in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
In this role, you will be responsible for the placement of purchase orders and coordinating activities involved with procuring goods and services such as process and utility equipment, trade subcontracts, and professional services. You will also be responsible for project-specific subcontracts and purchase orders (POs) and invoice tracking, shipping, and receipt documentation.
What You'll Do
1. Identify potential sources/partners and manage pre-qualification procedures.
2. Conduct competitive tenders for equipment and services on client programmes, subsequently leading in all stages of the inquiry process.
3. Manage progress reviews and expedite progress in the supply chain.
4. Compile regular reporting data and present to client procurement groups.
5. Prepare Purchase Orders / Contracts.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Prior experience in a procurement role.
* Knowledge and experience of trade contracts and equipment procurement.
* You may be required to travel for short durations periodically.
Preferred Qualifications
* MCIPS qualified, Engineering, or related supply chain experience.
* Supply Chain-related experience.
