Sort Line Operative. Job location: Leatherhead, KT22.
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday.
Job type: Full-Time, Ongoing.

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sort Line Operative to join our successful client based in Leatherhead, KT22 area. Our client is one of the leading private waste management companies and passionate about recycling and protecting the environment.
Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri 7:15am-17:00pm. Overtime is available for hours worked after 45hrs at 1.5 basic.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Previous experience within a waste industrial environment is essential
* Separating & placing materials for further recycling in the appropriate chute
* Picking at defined rates selective materials from a moving conveyor
* General duties throughout the site
* General housekeeping and cleaning of machines & the operator cabins
* Following designated shift patterns and reporting safety concerns promptly
* Manual handling tasks including lifting and using tools such as brooms and shovels

* Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
* Strong attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations
* Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual handling
