<div><h3>Senior Analytical Scientist/Team Leader</h3><p>Moreton, UK | Permanent</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>Were looking for a Senior Analytical Scientist / Team Leader to join our Synergy team. In this key leadership role, youll lead and develop an on-site analytical team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality testing activities in a GMP-regulated environment. Youll play a critical role in supporting the Analytical Leadership and Testing (ALT) function, working closely with customer lab leaders and scientific teams.</p><h3>What Youll Be Doing</h3><h3>Technical & Operational Leadership</h3><ul><li>Lead the planning, execution and troubleshooting of analytical testing activities</li><li>Work with techniques such as HPLC, Karl Fischer titration, and dissolution testing</li><li>Review and approve analytical data and results</li><li>Support method validation and development activities</li><li>Ensure compliance with cGMP and ALCOA+ data integrity principles</li><li>Contribute to audit readiness and regulatory inspection preparation</li><li>Identify risks and implement mitigation plans</li></ul><h3>Team Leadership & Development</h3><ul><li>Manage and develop a team of 3+ scientists</li><li>Lead onboarding, training, and performance management</li><li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance</li><li>Coach and support team members to drive high performance</li></ul><h3>Stakeholder & Customer Engagement</h3><ul><li>Build strong relationships with lab teams</li><li>Communicate progress, challenges, and successes clearly</li><li>Represent Synergy with professionalism and integrity at all times</li></ul><h3>What Were Looking For</h3><ul><li>Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar</li><li>Strong expertise in HPLC and related analytical techniques</li><li>Experience analysing oral solid dose formulations</li><li>Proven team leadership experience (2+ years) in a GMP environment</li></ul><h3>Skills & Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Highly organised, results-driven, and self-motivated</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management</li><li>Ability to maintain quality, safety, and delivery standards under pressure</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Flexibility may be required (e.g., early starts or adjusted hours)</li><li>Role involves hands-on lab work, including movement across lab areas</li></ul><h3>Why Join Synergy?</h3><p>At Synergy, we partner with leading organisations across the life sciences sector, delivering high-impact scientific services.
