The role
South East England Up to £60,000 £5,000 Car Allowance 15% Bonus Practicus is partnering with a leading infrastructure services organisation to appoint a Business Development Manager for its South East region .This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional with experience in Traffic Management, Highways, Utilities, Infrastructure or related construction sectors to play a pivotal role in driving regional growth . The Opportuni tyReporting directly to the Regional Director, you will take ownership of both new business acquisition and key account development across the South East. This is a genuine growth role, offering the chance to influence regional strategy, build long-term customer relationships and contribute directly to ambitious business target s. The role offers a balanced mix of:New business developm entKey account management and client retent ionBid and tender supp ortStrategic pipeline generat ionRegional growth plann ing You'll work closely with operations, commercial and bid teams to ensure opportunities are successfully converted and seamlessly handed over for deliv ery.Key Responsibili tiesDevelop and execute regional business development pl ans.Generate, manage and convert a healthy sales pipel ine.Identify and win new business opportunities across the South E ast.Build and grow relationships with existing customers to maximise retention and sp end.Support bid and tender submissions from a commercial perspect ive.Lead customer engagement activities, networking and market mapp ing.Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecast ing.Collaborate with operational teams to ensure excellent customer outco mes.Conduct win/loss reviews and implement continuous improvement initiati ves. Abou t YouWe're looking for a self-motivated and highly organised business development professional who thrives in a field-based environ ment.You'll likely b ring:Proven success in business development, sales or account manage ment.Experience within Traffic Management, Highways, Infrastructure, Utilities or a closely related se ctor.Strong commercial awareness and bid/tender expo sure.The ability to build credibility with clients and operational stakehol ders.Excellent communication and relationship-building sk ills.A proactive, self-starting approach with strong reporting discip line.Experience managing both existing accounts and developing new business opportuni ties.
