We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook/Chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cuisine, with a focus on meal preparation and food safety. As a Cook/Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen. Working hours are Saturday & Sunday 15-20hrs per week. Salary will depend on experience.
Duties
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Experience
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
* At least 1+ years working as a Cook/Chef
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional culinary abilities combined with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a kitchen operating at full capacity
* The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong teamwork abilities, maintain a positive attitude, and possess exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to engage with colleagues and various departments in a manner that reflects professionalism and respect is essential. Must maintain a neat & professional appearance.
