Our client are actively seeking a part time (4 days per week), Interim Senior Management Accountant for a short term assignment to support the Financial Controller during changes in the business. Working on a hybrid basis eventually, you will initially be required to work on site near St Neots. Cambridgeshire for a 4 month period. Typical responsibilities include: Management Accounts - prepare and check data ready to input into the group reporting system Review of actual results against budget, including variance analysis and commentary Business Oversight - assisting with budgeting and reforecasting Balance Sheet Reconciliations Compliance of statutory returns, such as HMRC, VAT, PAYE, CIS, etc Overseeing and supporting the accounts payable team Adhoc duties to support the team Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience: Qualified Accountant (QBE or Formally Qualified - ACCA/CIMA) Previous experience in a similar role is essential Able to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative Flexible attitude to support the team Must be able to commute to St Neots, initially for 4 days per week Interviews for this role will be taking place this week, with the successful candidate potentially starting w/c 5th or 12th of May This is the possibility of the contract being extended beyond the initial 4 month period.
