A large busy Human Resources, HR Team need an interim support (6 months) with in Employee Relations, ER, to play an integral role in delivering aprehensive, high quality and proactive educational and operational employee relations advisory and support service to managers and staff within the organisation.

Your new role
This Senior ER Advisor / Employee Relations Consultant is responsible for providing all staff involved in Employee Relations Cases supporting Managers and individuals in the Trust’s policy and process to deliver a professional and legally safe HR service.
The post holder will be responsible for:
• Ensuring that standards and objectives for the Employee Relations service are met and are consistent with policy, best practice and employment law.
• Being part of the upskilling of line managers by creating and delivering briefing sessions for line managers on HR policies and processes.
• Establish strong working relationships with managers in assigned directorate teams to support the employee relations and management upskilling requirements within the service.
• Provide expert and up to date knowledge to all employees and staff side representatives on HR policies and procedures and employment law processes as applicable and ensure appropriate signposting and support.
•Provide first point of contact HR advice and support to the designated directorate/team to support and encourage early resolution of employee relations issues
1. Encourage and support robust sickness management strategies

What you'll need to succeed
2. High volume case management experience
3. Demonstrable experience of providing a wide range of operational employee relations services to staff at all levels
4. Demonstrable experience of designing and facilitating management training/briefing sessions on HR policies and procedures and management of staff
5. Able to review and update HR policies and procedures in line with changes to employment law, values and/or case law as required
6. Excellent stakeholder management andmunication skills
