Our Donation Centre is the hub of our retail operations. We receive thousands of bags of donations, which are all sorted in our donation centre ready for sale in our shops and e-commerce platforms. Do you love discovering hidden treasures and unique finds? We’re seeking volunteers to assist with sorting through our donations which will help us raise essential funds for our charity, making a real difference in the community. What you'll be doing: Sorting through a variety of donated items that are delivered to the Donation Centre to be sent to our shops and e-commerce departments Moving items such as bags, boxes and trollies, adhering to manual handling guidelines Keeping work areas clean and tidy Supporting the retail team and working alongside a group of volunteers Your skills and abilities : A basic knowledge of items to be sorted for sale according to value/brand A friendly and approachable attitude Enjoy working in a team environment Good organisational skills Security conscious Benefits to you: Meet new people and learn new skills Work with a friendly team and be part of the Isabel family Support your local community Contribute to the provision of care to our patients Comprehensive induction and training Support with your career goals and personal development Opportunities to learn from long-term volunteers and staff Am I eligible to volunteer? We ask that our volunteers are: At least 18 years old Live within an easy commute to the area Interested in volunteering for at least 6 months for at least 3 hours per week All volunteers are assessed individually for the volunteer roles they are applying for.
