As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner on the wards at Sittingbourne Community Hospital, you'll join a team of support workers/HCAs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses focused on exceeding the needs of patients within our North Kent community.
This role covers services in Swale, and you may need to work at both Sittingbourne Community Hospital and Sheppey Community Hospital.
You will support the delivery of care to a range of complex patients, including those with life-limiting conditions like diabetes, in-dwelling long-term catheters, urgent wound care, etc.
This is a weekday service, working Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. No weekends or bank holidays are required.
Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, practicing autonomously and flexibly. Practitioners should have significant experience in primary care or A&E/Minor Injuries Unit. Working within the nursing team, you will collaborate with the service manager and clinical lead to deliver robust clinical care.

Job responsibilities
You will have an Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification, be NMC registered, and hold a prescribing qualification.
You should be confident using IT systems and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel).
