The Role
We are looking for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Assistant who possesses a tenacious, problem-solving nature, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to QHSE issues. The candidate will work to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 13485:2016 standards.
The Key Responsibilities
1. Interaction and Completion of QEHS Management System.
2. Complying and enforcing activities related to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and HSE legislation, as well as other regulations that apply to the business.
3. Liaising with regulatory bodies in conjunction with the QEHS Manager
4. Reporting to senior management on the performance and effectiveness of the QEHSMS.
5. Coordinating the completion and update of OH&S Risk Assessments.
6. Managing the QEHS internal audit process, and nonconformance log.
7. Delivering QEHS induction training.
8. Promoting awareness of Quality, Environment, and OH&S regulatory and customer requirements to top management and the management team.
9. Ensuring globally assigned KPIs are attained at a site level and reporting progress to global EHS.
10. Leading the EHS committee and promoting a safe working culture.
11. Promoting and checking of Manufacturing Quality Standards
12. Auditing of Paperwork and compliance
13. Conducting Safety Walks throughout the site
14. Perform Regular Inspections to ensure compliance with health and Safety
15. Manage quality related activities and the implementation of quality standards
The Requirements:
Must-Haves:
16. IOSH Managing Safely
17. Demonstrable experience of operating in a QHSE role.
18. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
19. Certified in NEBOSH General
20. Experience of a Manufacturing Environment
21. Full UK Driving License
Nice-to-Haves:
22. Certified in NEBOSH Environmental
23. Certified in NEBOSH Diploma
24. Bachelor or Advanced Degree in relevant field
