Job Title: Senior Occupational Health Nurse (Adviser) Location: Blackpool Area Salary: £40,476 - £44,711 per annum (pro-rata) Market Forces Supplement up to £3k pro-rata Role Purpose As a Senior Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide expert advice, lead the occupational health team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality health services, supporting employee wellbeing and workplace health standards. Key Responsibilities Clinical Advice: Offer professional advice on health-related issues and support to HR and managers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Health Assessments: Conduct medical consultations, health screenings, and vaccinations. Provide reports with recommendations on managing health-related workplace adjustments. Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support the OH nursing and admin team, ensuring smooth service delivery. Health Surveillance: Lead health surveillance programs and ensure all required assessments are conducted. Training & Development: Create and deliver health-related training for employees and managers. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Registered Nurse (Adults) with current NMC registration Diploma or degree in Occupational Health Nursing Specialist Practitioner qualification in Occupational Health Nursing Significant experience in occupational health nursing, including health screening, vaccinations, and case management. Desirable: HAVS qualification and leadership experience.
