THE ROLE
As an Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising events that strengthen our broker network and drive deal flow. You’ll create high-impact touch points — from small roundtables to large-scale broker events — ensuring Elect Capital stays front of mind with key partners. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, commercially minded, and thrives on building relationships through memorable, well-executed experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a calendar of broker-focused events, including networking events, roundtables, and industry activations.
* Own the end-to-end execution of events — from concept and logistics through to delivery and follow-up.
* Work closely with the partnerships team to identify target brokers and maximise attendance and engagement. Ensure events drive tangible outcomes, including new broker relationships and increased deal flow.
* Manage event budgets, suppliers, venues, and timelines efficiently.
* Track and report on event performance, ROI, and broker engagement.
* Maintain ongoing communication with brokers pre- and post-event to strengthen relationships.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in event management, preferably within financial services or B2B environments.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with external partners.
* Commercial awareness — understands how events translate into pipeline and revenue.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences.
* Proactive, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
