The Lanes Group needs a HGV Tanker Engineer to join our Operational Team in Bradford working withing a well established team that are looking to expand further with another strong member of staff.
Hours: Monday to Friday, Nights 47.50 per hour
On-call rota
You will working independently operating our high specification tankering vacuumation units. Work Projects, will include any drainage related issues, moving treated and untreated waste product, assisting with remedial works on Anglian Water sites and emergency reactive works.
Although you start at the depot, you will be mobile attending to all work activities, within various work sectors, including industrial, utility, commercial, residential. Travelling in your vehicle you will be covering jobs throughout the region which can involve travel times added in addition.
You may already be familiar with vacuumation Tankering works, but no problem if not, as full training will be given for the right candidates.
You will be required to hold an HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally. You can become a successful Utilities Waste-Water Technician if you have problem-solving, listening, critical thinking, teamworking abilities and a customer focused approach. Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry.
Ideally A driving licence with no more than 6 points
Industry related qualifications such as NRSWA and Confined Space (desirable)
