Job Summary:
REFYT is looking for a Energy Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and compliance of our retrofit projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You'll be the central link between clients, on-site teams, and project partners, making sure all Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) meet PAS 2035, building regulations, and REFYT's quality benchmarks. With a strong pipeline of ECO4 and other funded work already secured, you'll be part of a growing, impact-driven team.

Responsibilities
* Manage the full lifecycle of retrofit projects under PAS 2035.
* Review and approve retrofit assessments, medium-term improvement plans, and designs.
* Work closely with Assessors, Designers, and Installers to ensure smooth, timely delivery.
* Maintain TrustMark compliance and lodge completed projects via relevant portals.
* Liaise with homeowners, landlords, and funding bodies to keep projects on track.
* Monitor project risk and oversee quality assurance from start to finish.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Experience:
* Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination & Risk Management preferred (PAS 2035 compliant).
* Proven track record in delivering domestic retrofit projects, ideally under ECO, SHDF, GBIS, or similar government-backed schemes.
* Strong working knowledge of fabric-first principles, ventilation, insulation, and low-carbon technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate projects from inception to completion.
* Comfortable working independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Note: Having a full UK driving licence is ideal, as this role includes multiple site visits across various locations.
